Discover an unforgettable experience in El Chaltén with our ascent up to the front of the Crestón Glacier. Here we put on the necessary equipment and cross the glacier, at some point along the way we will practice ice climbing. From here, you can admire a stunning view of the Vueltas River Valley and the north face of Fitz Roy Mountain. The Crestón Valley is located in the Lago Del Desierto area, approximately 37 km north of El Chaltén via RP 41. This valley offers a variety of alternatives for all skill levels and at different times of the season. You can explore tall lenga forests, glaciers, and the imposing summit of Crestón Mountain. This setting provides us with trekking options both within the lush forest and in high mountain terrain.
