BOOKING CONDITIONS
In consideration of the services provided by Patagonia Ascent for all activities offered by the company, I understand and agree to the following:
I acknowledge that mountain activities, in any of their disciplines and forms, involve known and unforeseen risks that may result in physical injury, illness, death, or damage to my person or property. Although Patagonia Ascent has taken reasonable measures to ensure that I have the appropriate equipment for the activity and to provide certified and experienced guides, I understand that certain risks cannot be eliminated without compromising the nature of the activity.
Some of the risks include, but are not limited to: extreme weather conditions that can change rapidly, low temperatures, high solar radiation, strong winds, snowfall, rain, fog, rockfall, dense forests, falling branches or trees, snow avalanches and séracs, crossing very cold rivers, difficulty in obtaining water or food, and limited communication with nearby locations.
Additionally, the activities take place in remote areas far from hospitals or medical centers, which may result in delayed assistance and difficulties in transporting injured or ill participants.
I declare that I am fully aware of the planned activities, as they have been explained to me in detail. I expressly agree to assume all risks associated with this activity. My participation is voluntary despite the risks involved.
I accept that the guides responsible for the activity will act as expedition leaders, and their instructions must be strictly followed. They may decide to conduct, modify, or cancel the activity at their discretion, prioritizing safety above all else, and such decisions cannot be subject to claims.
I accept that, as these activities take place in mountain and/or outdoor environments, all schedules and programs are subject to weather conditions, human factors, and terrain conditions.
I declare that I am in adequate physical and psychological condition to participate in these activities.
I assume responsibility for my own life insurance and medical assistance. I will be responsible for any costs not covered by my insurance or medical coverage.
I fully understand that this acknowledgment and assumption of risk is a legally valid document under the laws of the Republic of Argentina. I have carefully read, understood the risks, and voluntarily agree to these terms.
INSURANCE
