Day 1

In the afternoon, we coordinate a 1-hour transfer to the starting point of the access trail to the valley.

From there, a short 40-minute hike through the forest takes us to the refuge dome where we will have dinner and spend the night.

  • Elevation gain: 300 m ascent

Day 2

Early in the morning we begin the ascent to the summit. We hike through moraine and slab terrain until reaching the glacier.

From there, roped up, we cross snow and ice terrain with crevasses to reach the pass. The final section follows an aesthetic ridge with slopes up to 50° and some mixed climbing steps before reaching the summit.

On the way down, we stop at the refuge before continuing the descent back to the trailhead.
