DAY 1

We drive to Río Eléctrico bridge, where we begin a 2-hour hike to Piedra del Fraile camp. Then we continue along a demanding trail through moraines and glaciers, gaining 950 m of elevation over 12 km, reaching Paso Marconi base camp in approximately 6 hours.

DAY 2

We start early in the morning moving towards Circo de los Altares at the base of Cerro Torre. We ascend snow ramps leading to the first climbing section, involving mixed terrain (rock and ice).

After this, we reach the advanced camp at Filo Roso. This is an intense day covering around 15 km with moderate to hard climbing of approximately 150 m.

DAY 3

Around midnight we begin the summit push. We reach the Col of Hope, overcome the Elmo formation, and climb the hard blue ice of the headwall.
